Social Worker - Sensory Impairment
The Specialist Services team provides support to citizens of Birmingham who are experiencing complex circumstances such as having Sensory Impairment.
You will have demonstrable social work experience, the ability to work positively as part of a team and in partnership with other stakeholders, together with an interest and skills to work with in the specific area of Sensory Impairment. Working within the legislative framework, you will carry out social work functions, including working within a duty system, completing Care Act 2014 assessments by way of the 3 Conversations model, drawing on sound inter-personal and communication skills. You will carry a caseload and will require the ability to produce reports and the resilience to deliver under pressure within required time frames.
