Job Title: Public Health Consultant
Hours: 37 Hours
Grade: SM2 (£74,092 - £84,705)
Location: Sandwell Borough
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent appointment to Sandwell Council as a Consultant in Public Health. You will join an innovative team to support work across a number of domains of Public Health. Responsibilities will include working to influence the environmental determinants of public health and health improvement programmes.
We are looking for a systems leader who can communicate effectively and influence change across a wide range of stakeholders. You will be committed to tackling the wider determinants of health as well as able to demonstrate a good range of core Public Health skills. A good track record of working at a senior level in local government, managing staff and communicating complex information to a wide range of audiences will be a clear advantage.
The successful applicant will be required to complete a Disclosure Application Form and to provide criminal conviction information.
