Scale: 6
£24,313 - £26,317 per annum
Full Time 37 hours per week

 

ICT Services at Telford & Wrekin Council are searching for an enthusiastic Education Desktop Support Officer to join our expanding team who were BETT 2015 and 2018 finalists for ICT Services and Support.

An ideal candidate would have a degree of experience of providing an ICT support service in schools and provide a customer focused reliable, flexible operational and technical support service to our Education customers. This post will support schools on a day to day basis, enabling them to operate more effectively and efficiently to improve teaching and learning through the use of ICT.

This post will involve travelling between sites.

Experience with Windows 7, 8.1 & 10 and Microsoft Office 2010, 2013, 2016 & Office 365 in an enterprise environment is essential.

Experience with Apple OSX, IOS and Google Chrome devices including mobile device management solutions is desirable.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a diverse fast-paced support team. Our aim is to provide an exceptional cost effective managed service; this includes providing advice, support and implementing solutions to primary, secondary and special schools from all over the region.
