Scale: 46 - 50 (£46,079-£50,272) (dependent upon experience and qualifications)
Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours)
Centre: Coventry

WHO IS DUDLEY LODGE?
Dudley Lodge is a UK registered non-profit making Organisation established in 1895, and is one of the leading Family Assessment Centres in England and Wales. We operate from two Centres: Dudley Lodge Family Assessment Centre in Coventry and Bonner House Family Assessment Centre in Birmingham.
Our purpose is to provide the Courts and other relevant parties concerned with the safeguarding of children, a range of high quality, independent assessments. The Organisation specialises in residential parenting assessments, community-based assessments, day assessments and ‘Place of Safety’ assessments, alongside other safeguarding services. We assess referred parent/carers’ abilities to keep children safe, and make decisive recommendations in respect of their capacity and potential for promoting children’s continuing wellbeing.
JOB PURPOSE
- To be the Registered Manager for Dudley Lodge, Residential Family Assessment Centre.
- To be responsible for the day-to-day assessment and intervention practices within the Centre and the community.
- To ensure the Centre remains compliant with relevant legislation and the National Minimum Standards (OFSTED).
- To actively manage the Centre, staff and quality of all assessments undertaken.
- To provide a high quality and dependable standard of service in line with the values and standards of the organisation.
YOUR QUALITIES
We are looking for someone who will be passionate about the values and ethos of Dudley Lodge, and will place the safety and welfare of children as their primary concern throughout all Centre practice, service development and delivery.
You will hold expert knowledge of children’s social work and working with vulnerable children and adults; including safeguarding, statutory responsibilities and assessment frameworks. You will have highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills in supporting managers and staff in their interventions, plans and decision making, to ensure the right recommendations for children are made.
You will have a proven record of accomplishment in strong and effective leadership skills. Your strengths will be in your ability to inspire, motivate, empower and support individuals to achieve their potential. You will have demonstrable experience of continuously monitoring, managing, developing and improving team and individual performance, through effective practice management and supervisory responsibilities. You will have strong performance in developing a culture of improvements in service delivery, with the ability to manage change and continually develop services and quality of assessments.
