Safeguarding and Attendance Officer

Salary: £23093 - £24623 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week TTO + 5 teacher training days

Applications are invited from individuals who are experienced in working in a senior capacity in this specific area, such as a social worker, youth officer or in a school.  The role will support the Designated Safeguarding Lead and Academy Primary Heads to ensure that children across the HUET are safeguarded through the effective implementation of its policies and procedures. 

Main objectives of the post will be to ensure that the safety and attendance of individuals and groups of pupils is optimised through the effective implementation of safeguarding and attendance policies and procedures of HUET schools, working in partnership with other agencies to provide the academic, moral, social, physical, mental and cultural well-being of children and their families.

This role is for an experienced professional who is prepared to show commitment and ideally is already Safeguarding trained.

Initially the post is offered as a one-year fixed term contract but this may lead to an extended contract into the following academic year.

Founded in 1326, the school provides a unique blend of academic rigour, modern facilities and traditional values.  The school is heavily oversubscribed, and our Sixth Form is flourishing.
