School Business Manager

Abbots Farm Junior School wish to appoint an ambitious School Business Manager to join the current administration team from September 2019.

The new business manager should be a highly motivated and hard-working individual and one who is able to use their skill set to develop current school practice, as well as identify opportunities for new initiatives. They will provide support to the headteacher and senior leaders in achieving the schools strategic goals.

We are looking for someone who: 

• can support the strategic management of the school 
• is resilient, flexible and can demonstrate an ability to work well under pressure, producing work to a high standard 
• will provide guidance on all areas of finance and administration to school leaders 
• will communicate professionally with both internal and external stakeholders 
• works collaboratively and supportively with colleagues within the school 
• is able to lead by example
• will embrace our ‘Learns for Life, Farmers Forever’ ethos

The post offered is for 30 hours per week (daily hours negotiable) based on term-time + 5 additional days.
