We have an excellent opportunity for an Information Systems/Information Technology Officer to join our small dedicated team of experts providing an IT support and consultancy service to Solihull Community Housing and the Council’s Property Services team.

Assisting in general day to day administration and support for all IT systems and facilities you will also be involved in supporting the PC networks used by SCH, dealing with staff problems and enquiries and providing advice and support.

To be successful you will have:

  • Experience and knowledge of working with all aspects of IS and IT, and preferably knowledge of at least one of the following systems:
    • Open Housing from Capita,
    • TotalMobile from Totalmobile Ltd
    • or DRS from Kirona.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate clearly and respectfully with others.
  • Customer service skills, including an excellent telephone manner
  • The ability to demonstrate initiative and analytical thinking to solve problems in respect of the use of computer systems.
