Site Services Officer - West Coventry Academy

West Coventry Academy is a co-educational, fully comprehensive school situated in large grounds in the South West of the city that welcomes and nurtures children from a wide variety of backgrounds and abilities.

West Coventry Academy are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Site Services Officer to assist with all site services activities, including security, janitorial, maintenance and monitoring duties. Ensuring that the Academy is safe, well maintained, attractive and a suitable environment for all those who use the Academy’s facilities. As part of the role, you will also be required to drive the school mini bus.

The role will involve working as part of the Site Services Team under the direction of the Senior Site Services Officer, but you will also have the ability to work individually and be able to prioritise your own workload. Excellent communication skills are an essential part of the role.

Criteria for Appointment:
Full Clean Driving License.
Background of industrial environment or school or similar environment at craft person/ maintenance/labouring or similar level.
A working knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety Procedures would be an advantage.

Exceptional candidates may be interviewed prior to the closing date.

Full-time (37 hours per week) Shift work (various hours)
