Bromley Hills Primary School is an LEA controlled school. Founded in 1962 we are currently a one-and-a-half form entry school with over 300 children on role. The education and welfare of the children is in the hands of a caring, friendly, hardworking and experienced team of teaching and non-teaching staff, with a supportive board of governors.

We are currently recruiting for a full time classroom teacher to work in our Reception class starting September 2019 on fixed term contract for one year.

Applicants should be:
•Passionate about teaching and able to demonstrate a genuine care for the individual pupils
•Prepare to plan, develop and teach lessons that cater for the needs of each individual child in their care
•Able to incorporate a variety of teaching and learning strategies
•Able to maintain open communications with parents and work colleagues in building and maintaining a supportive and encouraging team environment
•Keep abreast of educational developments
•Keep accurate and updated ongoing records and prepare reports

We are looking for an applicant who:
•Has excellent interpersonal skills
•Has excellent organisational skills
•has experience of working in a mixed year group.

You would work in a phase team, with two other teachers, as well as classroom support staff. You would be responsible for ensuring good rates of pupil progress in your class as we strive to continue to raise standards.

The post is suitable for a newly or recently qualified teacher.
