Senior Engineer Traffic Management & Coordination - Ref EE42219
Salary G9 £32,552- £37,475 per annum
You will support the activities of the Traffic Management and Coordination team during a period of significant transformation and regeneration of the borough.
The role will place particular emphasis on:
- The investigation, preparation and implementation of temporary and permanent Traffic Regulation Orders
- The investigation, preparation and implementation of traffic and parking schemes
- Supervision and direction of signing and lining contractors working on the public highway
- The management of HCV / abnormal load movements on the public highway
This is a specialist technical role that requires a high degree of interaction with the general public, local businesses, Councillors, Utility companies and Transport for the West Midlands.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate relevant experience and a thorough understanding of traffic management techniques and associated legislation.
