We are seeking to appoint a Qualified Teacher of the Visually Impaired. The successful candidate will have experience of working with visually impaired children, their families and educational settings in a peripatetic support role.
You will join a team of Teachers of the Visually Impaired within a Sensory Inclusion Service and allied professionals working with VI, HI and MSI children and young people with a range of learning and communication needs.
The role as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired requires excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility and the ability to work independently as well as contributing to the wider team within the Service. The ability to be well organised and work to deadlines is essential.
Due to the nature of this role you must be able to travel independently to meet the requirements of the post. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
