Are you a regular, confident on-road cyclist with a roadworthy cycle to use for training?
We are regularly looking for cyclists who would like to deliver cycle training in a fun and inspiring way to help encourage good cycling practice and cycle skills in both children and adults thus giving them the confidence to ride individually or in a group.
The work you do will be highly valued and successful candidates will be trained to obtain a National Standards Accreditation. You will also receive Basic First Aid and Safeguarding Training (Level 1).
The role will appeal to individuals who enjoy any form of cycling and enjoy working with children. Successful applicants will be providing training sessions of up to 3.5 hours in duration, generally from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm. You must be physically able to cycle around the Borough on a frequent basis.
Instructors will work on a casual basis, predominantly during school term / school hours.
