SCHOOL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Salary – G3 SCP 4-6
Actual salary £5864.65 - £6112.17 per annum
(Including 5 training days)
We are looking to appoint a permanent Administrative Assistant, from September 2019, to work two days per week from 8.30am – 4.00pm - term-time only. Plus ad-hoc hours when required.
We require an enthusiastic, motivated & friendly person who can work using their own initiative to assist & support the office, staff, children & parents of the school.
The post will include a wide range of clerical duties including:-
- Reception & telephone duties
- Typing & using a variety of software packages eg Excel
- Welcoming & liaising with visitors, parents & different agencies
- Handling, processing & recording cash
You will require:-
- Experience of working in a busy school office environment
- Strong communication skills
- To be able to prioritise, use initiative & work under pressure
- Excellent IT, Literacy & Numeracy skills. Qualified to Grade 4/5 level or equivalent
