Finance Officer

£23,388-£25,998 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

30 days' holiday, plus bank holidays

40.42 hours per week, 08:20-17:10 Monday to Thursday with a 15:55 finish on Fridays.

The JCB Academy was established in September 2010, the first of a brand new kind of school in the UK, with a focus on delivering high-quality engineering and business education. 

Since opening we have been consistently successful - our Ofsted inspection in September 2018 recognised us as a “Good” school with “outstanding” features, including progress in mathematics, engineering and vocational courses and the dedication to keeping students safe and secure.  Pupil numbers are growing - we have been oversubscribed every year, including for entry this September.

We need an experienced Finance Officer to join our busy office. This role includes a range of responsibilities, completing reconciliations and reports, liaising with payroll providers, supporting the Finance & Operations Director and working to tight deadlines. It is therefore essential that you have excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
