The Shaw Education Trust have a new opportunity to join The Kidsgrove Secondary School as a Teacher of History on a permanent basis. You will be joining a professional team in our Humanities Department.
Applications are invited from both newly qualified and experienced teachers of History; the successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 History to all ability ranges, ensuring a high standard of student performance. Notwithstanding the detail in this job description, the jobholder will undertake such work as may be determined by the Head of School from time to time, up to, or at a level consistent with the main responsibilities of the job.
In addition to NQT / QTS, a degree in History or related subject is essential.

Based primarily at The Kidsgrove Secondary School you will work alongside both Shaw Education Trust Executive Leadership team and the Academy Senior Leadership team.
