The West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) is a strategic authority working with partners to deliver a stronger West Midlands, with a focus on skills, innovation, transport, economic development and regeneration.  Individual Councils and Local Enterprise Partnerships will still deliver services and retain their identity but on the big decisions we will have the resources to work together.

This is an exciting time for the West Midlands - the Commonwealth Games will be here in 2022, the arrival of HS2 will help make us a world class business location and a new £350m housing deal aims to deliver 215,000 new homes by 2031.

About the Role

As the Thrive at Work accreditation coordinator you will work within West Midlands Combined Authorities’ extremely strong Public Service Reform team.

A dynamic, flexible person, you will contribute to the development, promotion, administration, delivery and monitoring of the Thrive at Work Programme and other PSR wider team projects. You will be highly motivated and enthusiastic about the opportunity to promote business investment and growth by engaging and supporting businesses to invest in the health and wellbeing of their staff.

You will be fully conversant with methods to objectively audit health and wellbeing evidence supplied, in order to evaluate an organisation against the Thrive at Work Commitment framework. You will support standardisation and maintenance consistency for the Thrive at Work Accreditation processes and be able to provide support, guidance and training when required.
