An excellent opportunity has arisen for a full time Community Care Supervisor in the Assessment and Independence Team within Adult Social Care.  This is a permanent post based at Cottage Street, Brierley Hill, DY5 1RE.

Hours: 37 per week

Salary: Grade 7 (£24,073 - £26,732) plus 10% shift allowance

We wish to recruit a permanent Community Care Supervisor. Your primary role will be to ensure the delivery of a high quality Home Care Service to vulnerable people in the Dudley borough. You will be working 37 hours per week on a set rota which includes some weekends, evenings and bank holidays, for which relevant enhancements will be paid. You should have an NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

Your main duties will include:-

  • Co-ordinating care within a designated area to enable people to be supported at home with their daily living activities.
  • Supporting a community care service providing person centred support and opportunities for people and their carers.
  • Providing supervision and support to front line staff.
  • Contributing to the implementation of service developments within Home Care.
  • Assisting in managing the demand for care capacity and ensuring safe discharge and care provision.

You may need to work flexibly, travelling across the Dudley borough. You will therefore need to hold a valid full driving licence and have the use of a vehicle.
