Working Hours: Full time (32.50 Hours per week)

Salary: MPR (Subject to Teachers Terms and Conditions)

We are seeking to appoint a committed KS2 teacher to join our inspirational and forward thinking school.

This post would suit an experienced Teacher or an NQT looking to start their career within this phase.

There are two possible posts available:

  1. For the Autumn Term (until 31st December 2019)
  2. For three terms (until 31st August 2019)

There is the potential for both posts to be extended beyond the proposed end date.

Ridgeway is a successful 2 form entry primary school within the Burntwood Cooperative Learning Trust. We currently have 413 pupils on roll in the main school and a further 150 children accessing Nursery Education and full day care in our governor led Ridgeway Extended Services (Sunbeams Nursery and Sunny Days Nursery).

School received a further ‘Good’ rating from OFSTED at our last inspection in November 2016 and we have continued to grow and develop since this time.

We require a committed and dynamic teacher who has:

  • Proven strengths and experience of teaching in KS2
  • A passion for delivering learning in an active and inspiring way
  • Shows commitment and dedication to collaborative working and be open to new and innovative ways of working
  • A willingness to further their own professional development

An interest or expertise in computing is desirable but not essential.
