Independent Safeguarding Quality and Advocacy Service - Quality Assurance Team

Quality Assurance Assistant

£22,021 - £23,836 per annum pro rata ( £11.41 - £12.35)

Scale 5

14.8 hours per week for 38 weeks of the year

The Quality Assurance Team is part of the Independent Safeguarding Quality and Advocacy Service. The Team supports quality assurance and data quality work across Children’s Services. We collate feedback and learning from audit activity and consultation in order to drive improvements.

The role will contribute to the enhancement of the quality assurance processes and data quality work within Children’s Services. This will include supporting the on-going improvement of records relating to children and their families and the sharing of learning from consultation with service users to influence positive change.

The contracted hours are 14.8 hours per week for 38 weeks of the year. These hours will usually be worked as 2 days a week, during term-time only, however there is an expectation for the post holder to adopt a flexible approach to work as they may be required to work outside of their normal days on occasion, due to the nature of the role and the unpredictable nature/timing of an Ofsted visit.

Please note employees who are at risk will be considered first for this position.  Only if an appointment is not made will other candidates be considered.

We are committed to equality and diversity. Posts working with children or vulnerable groups will be subject to an appropriate criminal records check.

Sorry but CVs will not be accepted.
