Blue Coat is a successful and oversubscribed school in the heart of the city of Coventry. The school was graded ‘Outstanding’ in its SIAMS inspection and ‘Good’ by Ofsted in June 2016 and continues to perform exceptionally well academically.

We are looking to appoint a Science Technician to support our delivery of practical science lessons. This role will involve preparing resources, organising laboratories, maintaining equipment and providing practical support for the science staff.

Blue Coat Church of England School has a large and successful Science department with a history of excellent examination results and a strong focus on experimental skills, supported by our eleven well-equipped laboratories and team of experienced technicians.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work both individually and as part of a team. They should also have both a sound knowledge of science and a desire to learn more. Previous experience as a science technician would be an advantage.
