Assistant Accountant Level 3 Apprentice (3 posts) – Ref: RT64719

Do you have a passion and interest in developing a career in finance?  Are you willing to work towards a qualification while gaining hands on experience? 

If so then we have a great opportunity for a number of Finance Apprentices to gain skills, experience and knowledge in a busy finance service whilst working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

As an apprentice you will:

Finance is a highly skilled profession, with staff working at many different levels.  Our aim is to support individuals to undertake an Apprenticeship standard with a relevant training provider and this will include 20% off job training at a training centre, whilst providing an opportunity to gain the job related skills required in support of this. You may be required to travel.

The post is for a fixed term of 24 months, and will be paid for 37 hours per week (which would be split between working in the office and attending a training provider to undertake training).

We are looking for a motivated individuals willing to undertake an Assistant Accountant Level 3 apprenticeship, with 5 GCSE’s (including Maths and English), a level 2 Accounting Technician or equivalent, or relevant experience of working in a finance environment. 

This post is covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. 

The closing date for applications is Sunday 14th July 2019

Interviews will be held week commencing Monday 29th July 2019 and will consist of a short test followed by a formal interview.

Any offers may be subject to examination results.
