Start Date: As soon as possible.

Salary: Scale SO1; SCP 23-25 (£ 26,999 – £28,785 per annum – pro rata)

Contract: Permanent – 3 days per week, full year

St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School is looking for an experienced School Business Manager who can marry strategic business development with the educational vision for our school.  We need someone who is looking for an inspiring challenge to join our team of dedicated staff.

The successful candidate should have a proven track record in school based financial and business management, show initiative and be a great team leader.

You must have significant experience, knowledge and understanding of all aspects of financial management within schools. Experience of dealing with HR issues and the ability to lead Health and Safety, Premises and Administrative Functions within the school would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will need to be highly professional and be able to demonstrate they can be self-motivated, exceptionally well organised with superb communication skills; be able to relate well to both adults and children and demonstrate a sound commitment to the mission statement and ethos of St Joseph’s.  In return, we offer an exciting and challenging role in a supportive team and the opportunity to develop the role within this forward thinking school.

Appointment will be made subject to references and a clear disclosure record from the DBS.
