Grade 1 – Temporary Part-Time Contract

Monday to Friday 8.55 am – 1.00 pm (20 hours 25 minutes)

Salary Scale TA1 - Final Column Point 1 - Term Time Only

£8195 - £8697 per annum

Required to start in September 2019 an enthusiastic, creative and reliable ‘team player’ to join our happy, supportive staff

team at Madresfield C.E. Primary School.  We are looking to appoint a Grade 1 Teaching Assistant to work Monday to

Friday mornings supporting a child in Key Stage 1.

The successful candidate will need to: 

• Have empathy for children with special needs
• Patience, understanding and a sense of humour
• A good standard of written and spoken English that supports learning
• The ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the children

• Have high expectations of all children both academically and socially.
• Have a desire and the ability to motivate and inspire children’s learning.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to act upon advice and support.
• Have the ability to work as part of a whole school team.

This contract is to meet the specific needs of a pupil at Madresfield School and is subject to periodic review.  It will however cease, or the hours will be reduced upon either:-

1. The child no longer attends the school as a pupil, or
2. The allocation of hours is withdrawn following a review of the need for this support.

The contract is deemed to terminate on the “happening or non-happening” of a future event”.  Whilst the school will endeavour to notify you of such an event, the post holder must realise that no further notification of termination will be given.
