St Thomas More is a two form entry Catholic primary school for pupils aged 4 -11. To be considered a successful candidate for the HLTA post, you must have:

• Experience of working across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2, working with small groups and providing cover for class teachers.

• A Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification.

• The ability to inspire, challenge and motivate all children to achieve, through your own best practice, in a happy and effective learning environment.

• Good interpersonal skills and a commitment to working as part of a team to improve standards of teaching and learning.

• The ability to be a positive role model.

• A commitment to contributing to the Catholic life of the school.

• The capacity to work flexibly in order to meet the needs of the children.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
