An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit Family Hub Assistants. Your role will be to support the delivery of early help services from a local Family Hub. This will include working within a multi-disciplinary team consisting of a Youth Worker, Early Help Social Worker, Family Hub Workers, and a range of partners. Working alongside local children, young people, parents and carers to assess and meet their needs early through organised support and activity based programmes. Supporting local colleagues and community groups to set up & run self-help support and activity based programmes. Your role also involves holding a case load of families and you will be delivering family support to help improve their lives.

You’ll need:

An understanding of the needs and characteristics of children, young people and their families.

Identify and respond appropriately to the needs of children, young people and families, planning, co-ordinating, organising targeted activities to meet their identified needs

Working hours 

1 x 37 hours Families for All Hub
2 x 37 Hours Park Edge Family Hub
1 x 34 Hours The Moat Family Hub
