Maternity cover from September 2019 to December 2020
Teach at a school where every child really matters.
Star Academy is going from strength to strength. Taking pride in the achievement of every child, we are committed to providing a safe, friendly and fun learning environment, with pupils leaving us in Year 6 with the positive attitude and real-world skills to lead happy and successful lives.
Literacy, numeracy and a passion for learning are at the heart of everything we do, and you will make them central to your lesson plans. Setting the highest standards of behaviour and ensuring that each child participates to the full, you will assist us in delivering an inclusive education that maximises pupils’ potential at all levels of ability.
As a qualified teacher with proven primary experience, you will be ready to hit the ground running and will make a lasting impression. In particular, you will assist us on our journey towards Outstanding as you maximise pupils’ sense of self-worth and enthuse your colleagues with your creative and innovative approach to teaching.
This is to cover maternity leave starting in September 2019 and continuing until December 2020
