Revenues Revenues Visiting Assistant

£23,836 - £26,317 per annum

plus essential car user allowance

37 hours per week

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and capable team player with an inquiring mind to the above post who will provide assistance in the Revenues Unit ensuring that Council Tax and Non-Domestic Rates income is maximised, that customers are correctly billed and that the Revenues Team meets its targets.

The role includes Revenues billing and administration duties, the inspection of properties to establish liability, occupation, discounts, exemptions and reliefs from Council Tax and Business Rates, and identifying any possible changes and the collection of evidence in support of Valuation Office Agency queries.

You will have a minimum of 3 GCSEs grade A-C, or equivalent, and be I.T. literate and hold a full driving licence together with access to a car. It is desirable that you have experience in a Revenues environment.
