Advanced Practitioner (Adult Social Care) - Ref: SS00619
Salary G10 £36,511 to £41,263 per annum 
 

Walsall Council has current vacancies for Advanced Practitioners based within the North and South Locality Teams.  As Advanced Practitioner, you will have opportunity to oversee the day-to-day supervision and operation of either the initial assessment or longer-term teams. The successful candidate will be joining the authority at an exciting time and they will help drive forward the 3 conversations model of practice. Candidates will be required to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and related legislative frameworks.

We are particularly looking for enthusiastic and committed professionals to join our teams; to help shape and deliver our services, and contribute to the development of a model of best practice. In order to do so, you will be supported by a strong leadership team and a commited team of social workers and occupational therapists.

The successful candidate will be an experienced registered Social Worker or Occupational Therapist, who will, with oversight and support from the Team Manager Champion, and develop best practice within your area of responsibility.  

The successful candidate will have sound practice skills, safeguarding knowledge and a proven track record of professional development (additionally you must hold a post qualifying award for/and commit to ongoing practice as AMHP, BIA or Practice Educator (stages 1 & 2).  You will also be committed to the ongoing development of the Adult Social Care wider workforce.
