The Wyre Forest and Hagley Project (WHP) is a programme within the ContinU Trust Charitable organisation and you will be employed through the ContinU Plus Academy on behalf of the ContinU Trust.  WHP supports children and young people in primary schools who are showing signs of emerging emotional and behavioural difficulties, which are starting to impact upon their personal development, home life and/or school experience. Ours is a targeted school-based service that supports parents and children across a cluster of 32 primary schools. We now have an opportunity for someone to join our dedicated team.

A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in an appropriate field, e.g. Social Work, Childcare etc, or appropriate experience is essential. Accreditation in a parenting skills course, e.g. Triple P and/or Family Links, with experience of group delivery would be a definite advantage. For further information about our service, please see the WHP web pages on the Continu Trust website at www.continu.org.uk.

The service is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  The successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure & Barring Service
