We are a 1.5 form entry over subscribed Primary Academy based in the Coalpool area of Bloxwich.  The children are central to everything we do and all our work centres around helping them be the best they can be.  We are proud to be sponsored by the University of Wolverhampton Multi Academy Trust and alongside the Executive Headteacher, Governing body and Leadership Team we have a clear vision and high expectations. Administrative Assistant (Permanent)

Hours of work 8.30am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday (37 hours per week) term time only.

To Start: 2nd September 2019

Salary: Grade 3 Point 12-17

We are seeking to recruit a School Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated admin team in running the main school office. The successful candidate will play a key role in undertaking reception duties as well as supporting office and teaching staff in a range of more general administrative tasks, including promoting good attendance.

The successful applicant will be:

  • Able to form good relationships with parents, pupils, staff and visitors
  • Able to stay calm and maintain a sense of humour under pressure
  • A good team player
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to multi task
  • Experienced and confident in the use of ICT
  • Thoroughly professional, understanding issues of confidentiality and the need to protect the welfare of children
  • Knowledge of SIMS software is preferred but not essential

You will require:-

  • Experience of working in a busy school office environment (desirable)
  • Strong communication skills
  • To be able to prioritise, use initiative & work under pressure
  • Excellent IT, Literacy & Numeracy skills. Qualified to Grade 2/3 level or equivalent

 

  • Excellent IT skills including word, excel and outlook
  • SIMS experience desirable
  • Ability to work using own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills
