Before & After School Club Practitioner Grade 2:

The Governors of Fulfen Primary School are seeking to appoint a Practitioner for their Before & After School Club based mainly in the Early Years setting- Grade 2: 25 hours per week, full year contract to include working in the Fulfen School Holiday Clubs. 

This will be a permanent contract, supporting the Before & After School Club Manager within our extended provision clubs.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is enthusiastic, approachable and has a passion for supporting children to progress their learning;
• Will work effectively independently, and collaboratively as part of a team;
• Will use their own initiative to create a positive and stimulating environment;
• Be able to communicate effectively with children, staff and parents;
• Be aware of safeguarding and Health & Safety procedures;

Fulfen Primary School is a large, thriving primary school, located in Burntwood, Staffordshire. We are moving forward at a rapid pace due to a range of new initiatives which includes a Before & After School Club and School Holiday Club. 

The hours of work are:

Term Time: 7.15am to 9.15am then 3pm to 6pm Monday to Friday.

Holiday Clubs: 25 hours to be negotiated Monday to Friday (Christmas Holiday excluded – holiday entitlement applies to be taken during school holiday periods).

Pay Scale:  NJC Scale – Grade 2
