Lunchtime Supervisor

Salary: £2933 - £2992 per annum

Hours: 1.5 hours per day

Elmley Castle CE First School is delightful small school with friendly children and a supportive staff team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, Lunchtime Supervisor to become part of our supportive, friendly and committed team.  The post holder will assist with lunchtimes; setting up and clearing of the hall, supporting children while they are eating their lunch and supervising the children at play.   We are looking for someone who; üEnjoys working with children

• Is polite and able to develop positive relationships with children
• Is  able to speak to children sensitively
• Is  able to work as part of a team – listening to others, sharing ideas, being helpful to one another
• Is sensible and able to use their initiative

The post will involve setting up and putting away tables and chairs, sweeping and mopping floors - so anyone applying will need to be reasonably fit and strong – and have a certain amount of stamina.

They will also need to be mindful of the specific needs of children on our SEND register or those that have medical needs. Full training will be given.

No qualifications are necessary but a Food Hygiene Certificate would be useful.
