Job Details
Shenstone Lodge School is a two site special school.
We aim to be outstanding as we educate and support our students who experience social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
This post is based at Brades Lodge, Tividale, West Midlands.
The Governors wish to appoint a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, reliable and highly motivated Wellbeing and Behaviour Support Manager. Under the line management of the Head of School or their designated manager, the post holder will lead the management, co-ordination and implementation of school wide and individual behaviour and wellbeing management systems.
The role encompasses the management of all social, emotional and mental health programmes and systems within the school including ensuring the impact measurement documents, tracking and systems are up to date. The Wellbeing and Behaviour Manager will be required to produce accurate summary reports of trends reporting to the Senior Management Team. They will be required to fully contribute to the implementation of systems/management strategies which aim to reduce numbers of incidents as identified through the data analysis.
Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) clearance is required for this role.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role’
The post holder will line manage the Wellbeing Support Officer.
Minimum of Higher Level Teaching Assistants status, degree or equivalent qualification or experience.

Shenstone Lodge is a 'split-site', part residential school supporting and educating students who present with Social, Emotional and/or Mental Health needs. It has recently joined The Manor Hall Academy Trust.
The school secured a ‘GOOD’ rating in its last educational Ofsted inspection in May 2017.
The residential provision is inspected by Ofsted annually and received ‘OUTSTANDING’ in February 2020.
The Shenstone Lodge site is based just outside of Shenstone village, near Lichfield in Staffordshire and currently supports students from Y1 toY7.
There is a residential provision on this site which accommodates up to 12 students overnight between Monday and Thursday during term time.
The Brades Lodge site is a day school situated in Tividale, Oldbury and supports students from Y7 to Y11.
The school is funded across the two sites for a total of 95 students.
