Quality of Practice Officer

Salary:  £25,463.00 - £29,909.00 per annum

18.5 Hours per week

The Intelligence. Improvement & Development Service have an exciting opportunity within their Intelligence, Performance & Engagement Team.

The Quality of Practice Officer will support the Quality of Practice Manager to work across the children and families system to co-ordinate and develop the quality of practice across children’s social care and commissioned services to improve the outcomes of children, young people and families.

This role will be required to work with a variety of stakeholders and partners in supporting the Children and Families service and relevant partnership boards to:

  • understand the needs of Staffordshire children, young people and their families;
  • translate those needs into definable outcomes;
  • enable the delivery of outcomes within available resources to achieve best value for money; 
  • Develop the process and outcomes from a quality of practice perspective
  • Ensure learning feeds into practice improvement 
  • Support the methodology and tools for the completion of data collection both quantitative and qualitative
  • Contribute towards the self-evaluation process
  • Contribute to the business planning process across the Children and Families system
  • Be visible within to teams to co-ordinate learning
