Solihull Community Housing is an Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO) responsible for managing the property portfolio, customers and surrounding estates on behalf of Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council (SMBC).

Reporting to the Responsive Repairs Team Leader, you will work as part of a team responsible for delivering a high quality, customer focused service.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in either social housing or commercial property sector, You will require particular skills and abilities associated with your areas of work, but will also be expected to carry out duties covering other areas of work within the team as and when required.

We are an Arm's Length Management Organisation (ALMO) set up in April 2004 to run the housing service on behalf of Solihull Council. The Council still owns the properties and is the landlord. But housing services are delivered by us.

We are run by a management board made up of four tenants, four councillors and four independent people chosen for their specialist skills and experience.
