Building Control Officer
The Borough of Dudley is the historic heart of the Black Country. With the recent announcements of over £400m investments including Metro, the Black Country Living Museum, DY5 Enterprise Zone and the town centre redevelopments, major growth is planned for the Borough.
We are looking to appoint a Building Control Officer to assist our dedicated and friendly team in helping to deliver these developments.
You should have excellent communication skills and be pro-active in delivering an established first class service to existing and new customers. You can expect to be involved in a wide and varied workload typical of a busy metropolitan area, which will provide challenging and interesting work and career development opportunities.
You should have proven previous experience in Building Control and be suitably qualified. Membership of a recognised professional body such as RICS, CIOB or CABE would be advantageous.
In addition to the salary the post comes with a contributory pension scheme, generous annual leave entitlement, agile and flexible working, and a car mileage allowance.
