Casual Mentor

Codsall Community High School are looking to appoint a Mentor to join the school support team.
We are seeking a hardworking and committed employee to provide half termly mentoring for all the students in Years 9 to 11 in our school, to help them achieve their full potential.
Support for Students and their progression
• To talk to students about the importance of attending regularly and working hard at school.
• To listen to any concerns students might have and help them to resolve them.
• To provide guidance to students on study skills and revision techniques to help them achieve high grades in their GCSE and BTEC qualifications.
• Any other roles commensurate to this position.
Professional Accountabilities (this list is not exhaustive and should reflect the ethos of the school)
The post holder is required to be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person. In addition, they are to contribute to the achievement of the school’s objectives.
