Art, Design & Technology Technician

Grade 3 – (£8.74 - £9.01) per hour

16 hours per week, Term Time, Fixed Term 1 year  

We are seeking to recruit a creative and motivated Art, Design Technology Technician for a soon as possible start.  The technician would work under the direction and instruction of senior staff to provide general technical support to the ADT faculty.

The position involves a wide range of duties, primarily in the Food and Textiles departments, including the maintenance of cooking equipment, preparation replenishing and maintaining of stock and equipment in all areas, assisting teaching staff in providing support for students in their learning activities. Applicants should ideally have knowledge of food preparation, be computer literate and be skilled in Art and Textiles material preparation.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a high level of initiative and the skills and confidence to work alongside young people. The hours are negotiable but will require some flexibility based around the school day.
