HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT
The Governors are seeking to appoint a HLTA
from 1st September 2019
NJC Scale 5, point 13–17 £12,362 - £13,859 pa (depending on experience)
Minimum NVQ Level 3 or 4 and HLTA status is essential
25 hours per week
Term time only

Applicants must be able to demonstrate that the quality of their teaching is at least good. They should have a sound understanding of how children learn and have high expectations that all pupils they work with will make good progress over the year. The role will require cover for classes, PPA cover, specific support for pupils in receipt of PPG and general teaching assistant role in school.

As a small school we need real team players, good communicators with a flexible approach: there are always exciting things happening in a very dynamic environment so be prepared to get involved right across the school.
