Principal Lunchtime Supervisor

Salary: G3 SPC 4-6 Salary - £3,066.48

12.00noon – 1.30pm – 7½ hours per week (Term Time-39 weeks per year. 

Meadow View JMI School is situated next to Doe Bank wood, in a very pleasant area with extensive school grounds.  Barr Beacon is also just on our doorstep!

The role will be to support the provision of children during their lunchtime.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the delegation of duties for the lunchtime supervisors. 

Key responsibilities will be:

• Monitor pupils during lunchtime ensuring their wellbeing and safety in line with the schools policies and procedures, offering both care and support in the dining room and on the playground.
• Responsible for the well-being and social interaction of pupils during lunchtime, promoting a high level of behaviour.
• Assist in the supervision of other activities including the setting out and storage of relevant equipment, ensuring the outside and inside areas are left tidy.
• A positive role model to all supervisors of the schools expectations.

The successful candidate will:

• Have excellent communication skills
• Be friendly, enthusiastic and be willing to work as part of a team
• Ideally have previous experience in a play care setting
• Be flexible in their working hours
