Curriculum Area Learning Supervisor

Salary: SET Scale 6 – 9 (£19,171 - £20,344)

Term Time, 37 hours

Required for September 2019

We are seeking to appoint a Curriculum Area Learning Supervisor, who will support teachers and students and work as a Cover Supervisor in the absence of a teacher. You will provide structured support, contribute to raising standards and will have a flexible attitude to working across the wider school as and when required. 

The successful candidates will have initiative and be able to take a proactive approach in developing this key role within school, this will include taking on the role of a Form Tutor.

A proven track record of working with learners in a classroom and excellent communication skills are crucial to this role as are good ICT skills.

The school is committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of students and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undergo appropriate child protection screening including a DBS check.
