Job Details
East Warwickshire Initial Response team are looking for experienced Social Workers to join the team. We are a stable and high performing assessment team covering referrals for the East of the County. We are looking for an experienced social worker who strives towards consistently good practice, with a genuine commitment to getting the best outcomes
for children and families. We welcome creative, solution focused colleagues and will in turn support you to be the best that you can be.
The Role
You will be required to complete high quality single assessments, attend initial child protection case conferences, chair CIN meetings, manage complex cases, be on duty, respond to escalating issues and risk, support less experienced social workers and support the team manager. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a stable and high performing team.
Key Requirements
- Professional Social Work qualification (MA/B A/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or Certificate of Qualification in Social Work (CQSW))
- HCPC registration
- Experience in children's social work at a more senior social worker level, including experience of duty and assessment, court work, child protection, looked after children and child in need work.
