Job Details

 

Sandwell Youth Offending Service are looking for panel members who can represent their local community. This includes men and women of any age (18 and over) and from every ethnic and social background. We want people who are good at listening and are committed to help make a positive difference in their community.  

You will be required to sit a minimum of two panel’s per month.  Panel’s run during the day time and evenings
Monday – Friday and last a maximum of 2.5 hours.  Chosen days and times will be suited to your availability each month. 

Full training will be given and travel expenses and refreshments will also be provided.

Closing date - Wednesday 3rd July 2019

As a Panel Member you will take the lead and help young people agree a contract which is designed to put right the harm already done and to prevent future offending. You will be working alongside a member of the Youth Offending Service, the young person and their parent/carer, and any other agencies involved.  

Panel members are required to have:
