Attendance Officer

Kingsbury School

Grade H: £23,836 - £26,317 pa (£9,929 - £10,963 pa this is the pro rata salary for term time only).  Part-time, term time only plus three teacher training days

18 hours a week (5 days per week, Monday - Thursday 8.30am to 12.00pm and Friday 8:30am to 12.30pm)

Our objective is to increase students’ access to learning and maximise the educational opportunities of ALL the young people at Kingsbury School.

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our School in the role of Attendance Officer.  Working with students, families and staff to overcome barriers, you will help to ensure that all students are able to attend school and achieve their full potential.  Early support and high quality, positive relationships with students and families is paramount to the success of this objective, and you would play a fundamental role in realising this and helping us achieve our attendance targets.

You will ideally have previous experience in a similar role and will have accomplished the skills to instigate successful strategies and rewards to ensure good attendance at our School.  You will have knowledge and experience of multi-agency working and relevant statutory processes and regulations, and have an established, positive record of dealing with challenging young people.  If you are a determined, motivated and innovative team player, committed to the schools’ ethos and aspirations, you can look forward to the chance to help shape the model of delivery for the school whilst working within a hardworking and supportive team focussed on making a real difference to young people.

You will be joining Kingsbury School at an exciting time as we are part of Castle Phoenix Trust and are very proud of our recent achievement to secure a good Ofsted outcome.  Being part of a Multi Academy Trust, and its associated teaching school, facilitates an opportunity to further develop our strategies to continue to invest in and develop our staff and, most importantly, bring about the best possible outcomes for our students who deserve the very best.

We will ensure you receive a comprehensive induction programme; every day will be different and we will play to your strengths.  We also offer a range of benefits which include the local government pension scheme, cycle to work scheme, discounted gym membership, free parking and an employee discount scheme and a commitment to staff wellbeing and recognition through our wellbeing committee.

Kingsbury has a great deal to be proud of, with a relentless focus on excellence and a desire to continuously improve.  If you have the passion and determination to be a valued part of our team, we would love to hear from you.
