As a popular and rapidly expanding school that will be full once again in Year 7 in September 2019, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Teacher of English. You will be joining a passionate and supportive team where all staff have a genuine commitment to educate the next generation and a school in an exciting phase of its journey to achieve the highest standards. If you have energy and passion for your subject and a strong commitment to achieving the highest outcomes for students through innovative teaching and learning strategies, we would love to hear from you. English is a key priority for the school and the department is at an exciting stage in its development. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated teacher to join our team and gain excellent career experience. Turves Green Boys’ School is a modern and forward thinking 11–16 School with approximately 700 students on roll from 2019. We moved into a brand new, state of the art building in November 2016. Interested candidates are encouraged to visit the school in order to gain a first-hand flavour for the school and meet our fantastic students; we would be delighted to explain further the vision for school improvement and what the role entails in further detail, meeting the team already in post. The position is not suitable for newly qualified teachers.
