Job Details
Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is the relevant authority for Black Country Coroners Service. The jurisdiction covers four areas namely; Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton.
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, excellent communicator who has the ability help those who need it most at what is likely a very difficult time in their lives.
As a Coroners Officer, you will be part of a team who investigates sudden or unexplained deaths. You will administer and assist in the investigation of sudden, suspicious, unnatural or violent deaths helping to establishing the cause of death by gathering, securing and presenting evidence ensuring all relevant legislation is complied with.
Applicants must also have excellent ICT and administration skills.
All necessary training, support and familiarisation will be provided.
