As part of the Council’s commitment to the successful delivery of person-centred services and the achievement of better outcomes for people, we are looking for customer service professionals with experience of using customer service technology, specifically a customer database or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

You will need to be good at communicating with customers face to face and over the telephone and able to deal with their enquiries calmly and efficiently. Good keyboard skills are essential.

If you would like to work as part of a team of Customer Service Advisors, you will be responding to a range of enquiries about council tax, housing tenancies, environmental issues, the electoral roll, licensing, parking, community safety and so on.

To do this, you will need to be capable of developing your knowledge of all services provided by the council and will need to have a mind-set that is focused on delivering consistently good customer care.

For an informal discussion about these roles, please call Carol Thomas or Emma Tomlinson our Customer Services Team Leader(s) on 3241 or 8108.
