CLEANERS
10 hours per week,
Term-time plus 2 weeks
3.30pm – 5.30pm

£9.18 - £9.55 per hour

We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic and motivated cleaners to join our friendly team who work across Bentley West and King Charles Primary Schools. Hours of work will be 3.30pm until 5.30pm.
Duties will include vacuuming, sweeping, washing, polishing, dusting, emptying litterbins, cleaning of toilets, deep cleaning and using powered equipment as required. The successful candidate must have an understanding of the safe use of cleaning chemicals/machinery, experience of operating cleaning machinery and a knowledge of COSHH regulations would be desirable but is not essential, as full training will be provided. You should have high personal standards and assist the Cleaning Supervisor ensuring the school is clean and hygienic for all.
The successful candidates will:
- be good communicators and have good Literacy skills – you will need to understand instructions and follow Health & Safety and COSHH instructions
- be able to carry out regular procedures, routines and clean the premises to an extremely high standard
- be able to organise their workload, use their initiative and be pro-active
- be conscientious and a team player
- be flexible
- ensure the school is kept secure at all times.
You will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. We welcome applications regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or religion.
