ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT & WORK EXPERIENCE COORDINATOR

We require an Administration Assistant to join our support staff team with a particular focus on coordinating Work Experience and providing administrative support for the curriculum. The role will also include regular support for Reprographics for a half-day per week and the capacity to provide increased coverage during the normal working week when needed.  This post will link closely to the Deputy Headteacher, with administration and organisational support for PSHE and Curriculum Enhancement as a central part of the role.  This role involves liaison with colleagues across the school and would suit someone who thrives on a proactive approach.

The successful candidate will have excellent administrative skills, IT skills and be highly efficient and organised. They will be able to deal sensitively with a variety of situations with external agencies, employers, staff, students and parents. A calm, flexible approach and highly accurate written communication are essential.

The salary scale is the Local Authority's Grade 4 (£17,391 to £18,319 per annum pro-rata.  Starting salary would be approximately £12,191 per annum, £9.01 per hour - pay award pending.
