Yardley Wood Community Primary School is a good school which is striving to be even better. Next year the school will be in its final year of expansion to meet the growing need for primary places. The governing board of Yardley Wood Community Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and empathetic teacher to join our team in September 2019.

The successful candidate will be a creative classroom practitioner, with a strong work ethic, a genuine desire to improve children’s life chances and the commitment needed to work in a school with a high percentage of Pupil Premium children. The post will be in Y1 in the first year. However, the ability, willingness and/or experience to successfully work in other Key Stages in the future would be a distinct advantage. There will be considerable freedom to teach creatively and responsively, whilst enjoying the support of staff, parents, governors & school leaders. NQT’s are very welcome to apply and would receive the appropriate training and support.

If successful, you would join an enthusiastic and creative team of teachers and teaching assistants, all of whom are committed to continuous school improvement, with the children at the heart of all we do.
